Party Peeper: QUAIL Presentation:
I went over to a huge downtown loft (right around the corner from Opening Ceremony) for the Fall/Winter 2009 presentation for up-and-coming Los Angeles label, Quail. Entitled "Sweet, Sweet Rebel", this season's collection is highlighted by the use of dark, muted solids with splashes of grape and neon blue. At least, that's what the press release says. DJ Tennessee Thomas played a nice selection of 60s girl group songs, and hey, there was an open Ciroc Vodka bar. They ran out of other mixers, so I had to go with vodka redbulls, so please forgive me if the photos are a bit blurry/jittery.
