i agree with those in favor of the top. something slim on the bottom would've really made it stand out.
Don't care for the funky hemline of the skirt, but the outfit is nice.
I'm glad to see this blog featuring Seoul. I spent a year in Korea while I was in the Air Force - was there from Sept. 1989 to Sept. 1990. While I was there, I noticed how nice the Korean women looked. Most of them dressed conservatively and wore minimal makeup. Of course, there were exceptions - such as the prostitutes in the bars. However, this is to be expected - hookers are expected to look sleazy.

I like the blue skirt. It doesn't match here because there is already enough going on up top without adding more colours, patterns and shapes to the outfit (and I think it needs to be ironed). I would team it up with something crisp, maybe even sporty. Either a slinky black razor back singlet or an immaculate short sleeved white shirt or a bulky and voluminous but high-cut black sweater. The shoes are boring but functional.
I feel about as confident in this look as it seems the lady is...

fatima- I almost feel the opposite. I think the jacket and cardigan are sweet, but Im not loving the simple shoes and skirt. Could you tell me what you would wear them with?? Its not that I dislike the skirt, I'm just having trouble viewing it in an ensemble. Why do you not like the top half? I'd love to hear your input.

hey miranda, haha I think I meant to write that " I wish the bottom half was a good as the top.". I can be a little slow at times. I totally agree with your take on the look!

I cannot find myself to appreciate the skirt, and especially with this outfit. What could this skirt work with?? any ideas?? Im loving the jacket, its very sweet and meshes nice with the cardigan and T-shirt . The shoes are simple, and nice, but who wants simple and nice? I love this look minus the skirt, but I'm still stumped on how I could like the asymmetrical blue skirt.
