Preen, one of the most talked about designers new to NY Fashion Week, threw a party at the Soho Grand Penthouse to celebrate their line for UK retailer, Topshop. The Misshapes were DJ′ing with pal Jackson Pollis, and the usual crowd of downtown denizens were there: Gordon Hull from Surface to Air, Tommy Saleh & Mandy Brooks, James Murphy, and Justine D. Got a nice Preen totebag with what is either a skirt or a scarf... Not sure yet, but I lost it somewhere later in the night. Damn. Oh wait, no I gave it to the girl at Deitch Project who was working late setting up the Wes Lang installation... Wish I kept it.
