The girl is lovely, but to me the outfit looks unflattering, ugly, mismatched and seems to be a failed attempt at originality for its own sake. Am I missing something? Can anyone explain this to me?

An anorexic model? Why is it that people refer to others who are skinnier than them as anorexic? It's very rude and offensive to the people who are just naturally skinny no matter what they eat.
yeah, i agree. i HATE hearing skinny people being described as "flat as a board" or "anorexic" or like a "stick". i'm a very curvy girl myself, but i'm always hugely irritated and offended on their behalf. it's just like someone calling a bigger person "fat". it's not nice. every kinda body is beautiful, as long as it's healthy.
