I love this look and I love how she manages to look creative and chic while using a neutral pallet. I think she uses a large number of pieces extremely well. If I dissect it I don't like it, but I love the way she put it together. I agree--I don't think that she embodies the Japanese layering and I think I could see her more in Europe actually.

Susie is great. I like her use of sheer layering over the other pieces. It looks effortless, but I can imagine how hard it is to get this just right. She is always an inspiration.

I'm sorry, I meant 'feel Happy' not 'look Happy'.

Love Susie.
This is what every person who has personal style should look. Happy.
This is actually one of her least daring outfits, despite other comments.
Also she is Chinese, not Japanese and I think how she dresses doesn't really emulate any type of style (cultural or otherwise)

I love this outfit! Susie can pull off anything and I love her taste in clothing.

i'm pretty sure she's chinese not japanese. also, i dont think she embodies that japanese "layering aesthetic" at all. it's cold in sydney, i get the whole layering thing. she looks amazing, i love the colour palette. if she tried to look less "fancy" wouldn't she be trying just as hard anyway? even a 'casual chic' or 'dishevelled chic' look takes effort.

She has an amazing style, love her and her blog! Great! <3

I love her fashion, Susie!
BTW, I'm not sure whether FashionLifeCoach is mistaken or not, but just wanted to make sure: she is not Japanese!

i think she has got her own personal..style..and i dont believe she's tryin to follow any trend..she seems happy with what she wears..so everyone should be pleased at that.. and i think "if u've got it...flaunt..it"..the outfit she is wearing may be a little ott...but..it could have been worse...she paired it beautifully..and i love that emma cook shirt...!!!

not sure about the necklace but i would kill to have just one of the pieces she's wearing. My favourite Susie outfit so far!

I think she has misunderstood the layering story. She just tries too hard to be fancy. It is not authentic at all, but from my experience I know that the japenese teens wear always a bit too much.
