I'm the first to admit that I not only don't "get" Tavi's style, I also don't "get" much of high fashion/couture. Having said that, I am a huge fan of Tavi's blog, because she is articulate yet honest, unlike a lot of other fashion bloggers out there. Good on her for sticking with something she is passionate about!
I really admire her for the bravery that she has get into such a lethal industry like fashion. She obviously has passion for fashion and that shows in her unique style and not caring what others think of what she wears. Though I wouldn't wear most of the clothes she does wear I do LOVE her style and wish I could pull off her funky style ):
i admire the driven she is, but making her age aside, i really dont like her fashion point in this moment, she only like an specific fashion look and make fun of any other idea, like Balmain and his shoulder pads, any point of view is ok, but not beeing a hater (specially a so young one)
SHE IS SO CUTE. Her blog is actually amazing... and she is so mature for her age, you gooo girl, she is an inspiration in a fashion world where we have twisted values and obsessions because then THERE SHE IS, spicing it up :)

If you have to ask why comments making fun of 13 year old girls are being moderated, then I dunno really what to say. If you're wondering though, I don't really like to approve comments that address someone's body image or sexuality. Do people really think "EAT A BURGER LOOK AT THIS ANOREXIC HO" or "EW SHE IZ FAT" or "IS THIS BOY OR GIRL HAHAHAHA" is funny or insightful or interesting in any way? Not that that was you, but I mean in general...

I have to admit, I'm becoming a 'Style Rookie'-addict...I love Tavi's blog! :) It really makes me smile to see a young girl who's unafraid to make great contacts and shake the hands of the people she idolizes in the fashion-industry. Yeah - she's only 13, but she writes with such a strong voice. That's what is most important.
